What drew me to this scene was the quiet relationship between the cub and its mother.
The young bear was perched above the forest floor, alert and watchful, while its mother rested along the same branch nearby. I was interested in the contrast between vulnerability and protection — the smallness of the cub, the calm presence of the mother, and the sense of safety created by the surrounding trees.
Rather than focusing on action, I wanted the photograph to hold onto the stillness of the encounter. It felt like a private moment in the life of these bears, one defined by trust, awareness, and the subtle comfort of being close.
For me, Tiny Guardian is about protection, tenderness, and the quiet bonds that shape life in the wild.
